Arkhyz in spring and summer: lakes, waterfalls, rafting and routes
Arkhyz in spring and summer is not one single season. May can bring powerful waterfalls and snow above, June brings rhododendron bloom, while July and August open lakes, warm valleys and active routes.

Short answer
In spring, Arkhyz is about strong waterfalls and the start of active season. In summer, lakes, trekking, ATVs and rafting become the main formats. High mountain lakes open later than valleys.

May and May holidays
May is good for full waterfalls, fresh greenery and Arkhyz before peak summer traffic. High lakes and passes can still be under snow.
Choose overview routes, jeep tours, nearby waterfalls and formats where a guide can adjust the location by weather.
June and rhododendron bloom
June often gives a beautiful transition: valleys are green, waterfalls are still strong and high routes gradually open.
If the goal is a specific lake, check route condition closer to your date.
July and August: lakes, rafting and active tours
July and August are the main summer season. Hiking routes, ATVs, jeep tours, multi-tours and rafting on the Bolshoy Zelenchuk are active.
In peak season book earlier and start in the morning for better light and less heat.
