How to read Arkhyz routes

A location is not the same as one tour. One place can be visited comfortably by jeep, actively by ATV, together by Enviks, or on foot with a transfer.

Choose the place first, then the trip method: vehicle or hiking section, duration, season and a suitable pace for the group.

Main directions

The Sofia area works well for a first visit and mountain panoramas. White waterfalls are about water, forest and active road. Marukh gorge is a full-day route with lake, river and waterfalls accessible by vehicle. Phia and lake routes need precise planning.

  • Sofia area: views, glaciers and waterfalls.
  • White waterfalls: forest, water, stones and cascade.
  • Marukh gorge: day route with vehicle access.
  • Phia and lakes: weather, road and transfer planning.

Why this helps choose a tour

For each location, compare the actual way to reach it: transport format, price, duration, start point, inclusions and restrictions.

Questions this guide answers

Why can one location have several tours?

Because the visit format changes the experience: jeep gives comfort, ATV gives active road, Enviks keeps the group together, hiking gives trail and pace.

Where can I see all routes?

Start with location pages and specific tour pages. They show start point, format, duration, price and booking terms.
