Summer: the widest choice
Summer is the easiest time to build a full day in Arkhyz: ATV tours, Enviks, jeeps, family rafting, hiking and multi-tours work as different ways to see the mountains.
Choose rafting or White waterfalls for water. Choose the Sofia area, Phia, Marukh or lake routes for views and mountain roads.
- ATV and Enviks: mountain road and vehicles.
- Jeep: comfort, kids, bags and distant points.
- Rafting: summer water with an instructor.
- Hiking: lakes, trails and transfers.

Winter: snow, forest and safe tracks
Winter depends on snow cover. A good snowmobile route is not just a vehicle: it is a checked track, instructor, warm gear and a weather decision.
If snow is low or a distant route is closed, choose a short winter forest route, jeep trip or another safe direction.

Spring and autumn: waterfalls and flexible plans
Shoulder season can be beautiful: rivers and waterfalls get stronger, forest changes, and roads feel more active.
After rain some routes become brighter, but the guide must check safety and suggest the right pace or alternative.
Questions this guide answers
When is the best time for a first Arkhyz trip?
Summer or early autumn is usually easiest: more routes are available, formats are easier to compare, and weather alternatives are simpler.
What if the weather gets worse?
